ACRG International Lecture Series Universitas Mataram Featuring Dr. Nur Idayu Alimon from Universiti Teknologi MARA

Mataram, March 12, 2025 – The Algebra and Combinatorics Research Group (ACRG) of the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Mataram, successfully organized an international seminar featuring Dr. Nur Idayu Alimon from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Johor, Pasir Gudang Campus. The event was held online via the Zoom platform on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM WITA (3:00 PM Malaysia Time).

The seminar was officially opened by the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Universitas Mataram, Dr. Marwan, who emphasized the importance of international collaborations in advancing mathematical research. Additionally, the event featured a welcoming speech from the President of the Indonesian Algebra Society, Dr. Nikken Prima Puspita, highlighting the significance of algebraic studies and fostering academic partnerships among researchers.

The seminar attracted more than 100 participants from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and the Netherlands. This wide participation demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm for the topic presented by Dr. Nur Idayu Alimon, an expert in algebra and combinatorics.

In her presentation titled “The Randic index of the g-noncommuting graph for some finite groups”, Dr. Nur Idayu Alimon provided deep insights into the latest developments in algebra and combinatorics research. The interactive discussion was highly dynamic, with participants actively asking questions and exchanging views on various aspects of the research presented.

The Head of the Algebra and Combinatorics Research Group (ACRG) at Universitas Mataram, Dr. I Gede Adhitya Wisnu Wardhana, expressed his pride in the success of this event. “We are delighted to host Dr. Nur Idayu Alimon in this seminar. The presence of participants from various countries has enriched the discussion and highlighted the importance of international collaboration in mathematics,” he stated.

This seminar is expected to be the beginning of further collaboration between Universitas Mataram and Universiti Teknologi MARA, as well as to expand academic networking for researchers and students interested in algebra and combinatorics.
